Tokyo, March 10th (People's Daily) - The 9th China Japan Korea Journalist Exchange Event, hosted by the China Japan Korea Cooperation Secretariat, was successfully held in Tokyo, Japan. After the Beijing Station event, 12 journalists from China, Japan, and South Korea conducted a series of in-depth visits, exchanges, joint interviews, and cultural experience activities in Japan, further deepening their understanding of trilateral cooperation and jointly exploring future development directions.
The journalist team conducted a series of visits and exchanges in Tokyo. For example, visited the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and paid a visit to the Minister of Foreign Affairs' political officer, Akiko Inaba; Visited Asahi Shimbun and exchanged ideas with Japanese media colleagues on the application of artificial intelligence in the field of journalism; Visited the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and listened to the introduction of the preparations for the 2025 Osaka World Expo by relevant officials. In the joint interview session, the press team interviewed Kunihiko Miyagi, the research director of Canon Global Strategy Research Institute, to ask questions about regional hot issues and cooperation prospects.
During the event, the reporters experienced the traditional tea ceremony culture of Japan's "Lichanjia", gained a deeper understanding of the concepts and etiquette of Japanese tea culture, visited the Tokyo Disaster Prevention Museum, and learned earthquake response and shelter skills.
On March 7-8, the delegation went to Seoul, South Korea to continue their visit and exchange.
